A Roman amber glass date flask
Eastern Mediterranean, mid 1st - early 2nd Century A.D.
The body blown into a two-part mould to resemble the skin of the fruit, with a short cylindrical neck, everted mouth and in-folded rim, 2¾in (7cm) high, repaired with some restoration, mounted
