Footnotes
This vessel is almost certainly the barque ‘Walleroo’ built by Allen at Pembroke Dock in 1862. Registered at 611 tons, she measured 145 feet in length with a 30 foot beam and was owned by Jenkins & Co. of London. She seems to have had a fairly short career during which it is recorded that she traded to Japan.
