Painted on plaster and bronzed, rectangular gilt-mounted papier-mâché frame, the reverse with broken trade label no. 1 of Miers and Field; together with a silhouette of John Robert Boyd, profile to the right, wearing buttoned coat and tied stock, by the same hand, painted on paper, the reverse with trade label no. 14 of John Miers; and a silhouette of Mrs Stevens, profile to the left, her hair upswept, by John Miers (c.1758-1821), painted on plaster, both in gilt-metal mounted rectangular black papier-mâché frames .
