Footnotes
RIO Boats were set up in the 1960's, by boatbuilders from the RIVA Company. Utilising many fresh ideas, the design of the Espera included features such as the sun lounger later seen in the Aquarama. It is believed that approximately 30 of the Espera design were built, although details differ, as the Company virtually custom built and were prepared to modify to customer's wishes. Searches by the owner indicate that there may only be seven examples now surviving and only this boat in the UK. Under her current ownership she has appeared in advertising and film shots as well as charter work. The boat has been maintained in good order and has a current boat safety certificate.
