A half-outrigged single whiff

Length:25ft.2in.(7.67m) Span:4ft.9in.(1.45m)

Built by E Messum & Sons, Richmond, c.1920 of clinker cedar on oak frames with mahogany gunwale, thwarts and passenger seat. Varnished inside and out with a gold caveta. Fitted with slatted mahogany gratings fore and aft and pine floor boards. The sculling thwart is fitted with a single action sliding seat at 12in(30cm) slide and folding iron riggers with bronze swivels. Mahogany stretcher with leather foot straps, passenger seat with locker beneath, cane seat back and sides and upholstered cushion. Rudder and yoke with cotton tiller lines and carved wooden acorns. Complete with a pair of leathered sculls at 9ft.6in.(2.9m).
