A traditional Thames punt
Length: 27ft.(8.23m) Beam: 3ft(0.91m) a three foot punt.
Built by Shepherds of Henley 1896, with mahogany sides, softwood bottom, teak treads with angled knees, mahogany deck and huffs. Varnished to the waterline and painted below. Fitted with new gratings. Saloon with two pairs of mahogany backrests, original horsehair cushions in blue with red piping. Inventory includes fenders, two poles (one wood, one aluminium) paddles and fitted canvas cover.

Footnotes
In excellent condition and recently refitted, this punt was originally the property of Leander Rowing Club and the paddles still bear the Club colours. In the same ownership for over forty years, this is a much loved, and cherished example of the traditional Thames punt.
