"Cavok" a motor canoe

Length:24ft,7in.(m)

Built in 1910 originally as a sailing canoe, in pitch pine on oak. Painted white to the waterline and red below.

Engine: Originally converted to motor power in 1934, fitted with an Austin 7 engine. Currently fitted with an electric start Mercury 15hp outboard motor in a specially constructed well beneath the aft deck. Fitted with remote controls and charging circuit.

General arrangement: Pine decks covered in cream painted canvas. Foredeck with access hatch, mooring cleat and navigation lamp, plus tabernacle from sailing gear. Cockpit of 7ft.10in.(m) with slatted floorboards and slatted wooden seats, folding side table and full-width removable table. Wheel steering on port side to semi-balanced rudder, and single lever engine control. Aft deck with access hatch to engine, ensign staff and mooring cleat.
There is a surrey top in red canvas on chrome tubes with removable side screens, plus an all-over cover. Inventory includes warps and fenders and a road trailer.
