An unusual wood and metal display model of the Thorneycroft Antar Tug Reg No.XMT 586 and push/pull trailer with turbo alternator load.

The three axle tug with glazed cab, drivers and passengers seats, controls and instruments (one windscreen damaged), detailed V-8 cylinder engine under opening bonnet, radiator, lights, mirrors, fuel tank and tool box, spare wheel and compensated leaf springing to twin rear axles, finished in blue and red with black lettering 'HILL BOTLEY Heavy Haulage Specialists'; together with a detailed 4-axle low load trailer with coupled axles at each end steering from the 'A' frames and with four wheels per axle with brake gear, the shackled load lettered 'No2 Turbo-Alternator Stator Case C.E.G.B Brighton 'B' Power Station, 85 Tons 65,600 K.V.A 11,800 volts, July 1967', further trailer details include diesel generator and panel, flanged, bolted stretchers, fine pipework, steersman's seat and other details, finished in pale green and red, the whole - 92ins (235cm) long.
