A model steam yacht

hull of hollowed bread and butter timber construction, with clipper bow and elliptical counter stern. Painted black to the waterline and red below, with brass portholes and a three blade propeller, rudder controlled by wheel steering. Varnished timber decks with inscribed plank lines, superstructure removes for access to boiler and engine. Copper boiler with safety valve, level glass and pressure gauge reading to 80psi. Single cylinder steam engine with slide valve and direct exhaust to funnel. Details include bridge with wheel, binnacle and telegraph, ship's boats on davits. 51x6x24.5in(130x15x62cm)
