A collection of rowing medals,

comprising: A Henley Grand Challenge Cup medal in silver gilt, a Henley Stewards Challenge Cup medal in silver gilt, and an Eton College Trial Eights bronze medal, awarded to REB Meade-King in 1903. (3)

Footnotes

The Henley medals were probably awarded to WO Meade-King (see lot 508) He rowed for Oxford University at Pembroke College in 1852/53. In 1853 he was stroke for OUBC which beat Cambridge in the Grand, and at 3 for OUBC they also won the Stewards. The Bronze Eton medal is possible to his son.
