set amongst rocks and grasses against a graduated backboard to the waterline with sky beyond. The gilt legend reads: Weight 2lbs, Length 17 3/8, Girth 9ins River Culm, May 27th 1924. Plaster lifting slightly on head,
Case: width 53.5cm x height 26cm x depth 14.5cm.

Provenance: This specimen was caught by Cecil Terry - General Surgeon and keen fly fisherman. It hung in Coleford House, Bath Somerset from 1947 when he married the vendor’s widowed mother, Eirene Jones. Cecil Terry died in 1970 but the cased trout has remained with family members until offered in this sale.
