A small Pike in a gilt lined bow front case

set against reeds and grasses against a pale blue backboard, the gilt legend reads: Pike – Taken in the River Ouse at Lewes Sussex by S. J. Hawes Sept. 9th 1867. Bears oval label for S F Sanders 3 Pleasant Row Essex Road Islington London to top right corner. Case 81cm wide x36 cm high x15.5 cm deep crack to backboard.
