With broad tapering double-edged blade (pitted overall) with rectangular ricasso and central double fuller along each side of the forte incised respectively 'Andria' and 'Farara' between double 'X' marks, iron hilt of flattened bars and comprising straight quillons with rounded spatulate tips, large loop-guard swept-up to meet the knuckle-guard (adapted at the top), large globular pommel with flattened button finial, and later wooden grip, the surfaces encrusted throughout with silver foliated scrollwork (worn, some losses)
