With tapering double-edged blade of flattened ovoidal section with rectangular ricasso and central fuller along each side of the forte, the former struck with an indistinct maker's mark on both sides, the latter incised 'Isaac. Cioe. Me Fecit' on one side and '[E]ans. Viena. La. Santa' on the other, iron hilt comprising flat side-ring with central faceted ovoidal feature and linked to the knuckle-guard by a swept-up side-bar, recurved quillons (one mostly missing, the other fractured) with tips en suite, shield-shaped quillon-block, (side-loop or thumb-ring missing), faceted globular pommel above scrolled calyxes, button finial, and wooden grip (wormed, binding missing), the surfaces retaining some encrusted silver foliate decoration between encrusted silver beaded borders (some wear and pitting overall)
