With slightly fluted octagonal barrel with flared octagonal muzzle with raised silver line and blade fore-sight, pierced block back-sight, decorated over most of its length in silver zogan and engraved details with a dragon amidst clouds, the breech inlaid in silver with a Kanja mon, brass back-action lock engraved with scrolls and a silvered flower within a hatched border and stamped with a maker's mark, brass serpentine and pan-cover, the latter acting against an external brass spring, cherrywood full stock with brass and silver mounts engraved with Kiku mon, the breech-plate engraved with a kabuto with silver crest, the underside inlaid in brass secured by pins and engraved with foliage with silver details including silver chidori, the butt applied with a Shi-shi and foliage, brass butt-plate (minor damage), brass trigger-guard and button trigger, and associated ramrod
