A 50-Bore Flintlock Box-Lock Pocket Pistol
By Benjamin Griffin, Bond Street, London, Circa 1760

With turn-off cannon barrel numbered '1' at the breech, border engraved action (top-jaw and screw replaced) signed within a foliate ribbon on one side and with the address on the other (engraving refreshed), sliding trigger-guard safety-catch engraved with a flowerhead on the bow, and figured flat-sided butt (pommel repaired), London proof marks
