A Rare Welsh 150-Bore Three-Barrelled Flintlock Box-Lock Tap-Action Pistol
By T. Rees, Dowlas, Circa 1800

With turn-off barrels numbered from '3' to '5', the bottom barrel fitted with a spring bayonet, border engraved breeches numbered to correspond, action signed within an oval against foliage on one side and a martial trophy on the other, engraved thumbpiece safety-catch also locking the steel, sliding trigger-guard engraved with a flowerhead on the bow, and figured flat-sided butt, private Birmingham proof marks
