With earlier bright curved blade double-edged towards the point, cut with a narrow fuller along the back-edge on each side and stamped with a pair of sickle marks on one side towards the forte, characteristic hilt decorated overall with punched flowerheads and gold-damascening, comprising pointed langets with pierced terminals, button quillons, curved tapering knuckle-guard with bud-shaped finial, disc-shaped pommel with button finial on a dome with pierced border, and flattened swelling grip, in its wooden scabbard covered in green velvet (worn) with silver locket and deep silver chape both chased with foliage against a stippled ground, the former with a ring for suspension
