The first with broad curved blade double-edged towards the point and cut with three fullers over most of its length on each side, one side of the forte deeply struck with a maker's mark, steel hilt of characteristic form chiselled with lines and designs of foliage highlighted with brass inlay and comprising pointed langets, downbent stylised Makara-head quillons, large spherical pommel made in two halves with small button finial, and swelling grip (some wear and light rust patination); the second with earlier curved blade (worn) double-edged towards the point, white-metal hilt of tulwar form embossed with foliage, a tiger attacking an antelope on one side of the grip, and a Makara attacking a hare on the other, and with ram's head pommel, in wooden scabbard covered in brown leather (2)
