Three Indian Tulwars
18th/19th Century

The first with curved single-edged blade, and characteristic hilt with pointed langets and covered with silver overall (incomplete), in its wooden scabbard covered in green velvet; the second with slender curved single-edged blade retaining traces of gold-damascened foliage and calligraphy at the forte, characteristic hilt with knuckle-guard and decorated overall with gold-damascened lotus blossoms against a silver ground (worn); the last of similar form, with associated blade (loose), the hilt retaining traces of silver-damascened decoration (all with some wear and rust patination) (3)
