Late 18th/Early 19th Century, Probably Sind

With robust iron head with crescentic cutting-edge and decorated with a diaper pattern of punched silver-gilt flowerheads against a punched stippled ground, angular socket and waisted block-shaped peen en suite, on tubular three-stage haft divided by roped mouldings, the mid-section decorated with punched scrolling flowering foliage against a stippled ground, the top and bottom sections en suite with the head, the latter with threaded bud-shaped finial opening to reveal a slender single-edged knife-blade
