With rebrowned twist octagonal sighted barrel leaf-sighted to 150 yards, rifled with eight grooves and signed (engraving refreshed) in full along the top flat at the breech, breech with platinum line and engraved platinum plug, foliate scroll engraved tang, dolphin hammer and signed detented lock, engraved safety-catch, highly figured half-stock with chequered semi-pistol grip and fore-end, cheekpiece, foliate scroll engraved steel mounts comprising butt-plate, trigger-guard and hinged circular patch-box cover, trigger-plate with pineapple-shaped foliate engraved finial, set trigger, horn fore-end cap, and original ramrod with horn knob (minor wear and rust patination): in original brass-mounted lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories including Sykes flask with bag-shaped leather-covered body, combined cleaning brushes/tools, sprue-cutter and rare breech-primer, the interior of the lid with maker's trade label, the exterior with flush-fitting brass carrying handle and circular brass escutcheon, London proof marks
