With etched twist sighted barrels signed in gold gothic script along the damascus twist rib at the breech, gold lines, foliate scroll engraved breeches numbered '2' and each with small gold plug and large fence around the nipple, foliate scroll engraved tang numbered '2', back-action locks (one action defective), hammers, butt-plate, rear ramrod-pipe and scroll trigger-guard, the last with dark horn spur, figured half-stock with cheekpiece and chequered grip, vacant white-metal escutcheon on the fore-end, sling mounts, and original ramrod with brass tip numbered '2', Liège proof
