A Rare French Bronze Falcon
Circa 1520

Of tapering section with raised stepped mouldings at the muzzle and breech, the latter (cracked and repaired) with owner's coat-of-arms within a garland, a crescent around the touch-hole, plain trunnions, and solid cascabel of circular section with ring moulding
