Signed Soshu ju Tsunahiro (7th Generation, Circa 1750), Shinto

The shobu-zukuri blade with one mekugi-ana, notare-midare hamon of nie, fully bound tsuka with shibuichi fuchi-kashira decorated in gold and silver with chrysanthemum blossoms by a stream, and gold, silver and shakudo menuki in the form of grasshoppers and flowers, in its black and green flecked lacquer saya decorated with foliage in black lacquer, the upper section of natural ribbed wood, the shibuichi koi-guchi, kurikata and kojiri decorated en suite with the tsuka, saya kanemono in gold, silver, shakudo and copper in the form of Fudo engulfed in flames, and shibuichi kodzuka decorated in gold and silver with a duck in a stream and Mt. Fuji
