An Oak Revolver Case, And A Small Group Of Accessories Relating To Vintage Firearms
Mostly Late 19th Century

The first fitted and lined in blue baize for a cartridge revolver and retaining two turned circular wooden boxes, a powder-measure and an oil bottle, the exterior of the lid with circular brass escutcheon engraved 'From Tho.s Brown To Herbt. Hunter. 1863' (keyhole escutcheon missing); the second comprising a rare cased set of sights, the lid stamped 'Sights Luminous Vickers .303" Gun 1. Set', two turned circular ivory boxes each with threaded lid, a pocket-knife, a cartridge-extracting tool, and three other items (a lot)
The first 35.5 cm. x 8.2 cm.
