The hira-zukuri blade with two mekugi-ana, notare hamon, ribbed black lacquered tsuka decorated with dragonflies in gold lacquer, and menuki in the form of a boar and ox, in its red lacquered saya decorated in gold and black lacquer with dragonflies and spiders' webs, kurikata in the form of a ring mounted on a silver band, and complete with iron umabari decorated with leaves and a geometric pattern in gold and silver
