First Half Of The 14th Century

In excavated condition, with long tapering heavy double-edged blade with broad central fuller over most of its length on each side, iron hilt comprising straight quillons of circular section with trumpet-shaped terminals, and heavy chamfered wheel pommel (one quillon restored, blackened overall)
