Chrysoprase, Carnelian and Onyx Necklace

The name chrysoprase is derived from the Greek chrysos meaning “gold leek”. It is typically a bright opaque green ornamental stone sometimes confused with jade. Formed of two nested strands of graduated bright green navette-shaped chrysoprase beads with carnelian and onyx disc spacers between, completed by a silver granulation decorated clasp, length 18in; together with a pair of matching earpendants.
