The Buccellati name has been known in the jewelry and silver world since the mid-eighteenth century, when Contardo Buccellati opened a store in Via degli Orafi in Milan, which is today known as Via Orefici or Goldsmith's Street. This hand fabricated attractive table decoration is naturalistically designed of sterling silver in the shape of a pear with stippled surface texture to suggest the skin of the fruit. It is fitted with a Ronson lighter. Stamped M. Buccellati. Height 6in
