Ceratopsian Nose Horn

Einiosaurus procurvicornis
Campanian, Late Cretaceous
Two Medicine Formation, Montana

Larger than other known specimens, the present horncore of a Triceratops relative would have faced forward, on a skull measuring approximately six feet from the tip of the snout to the end of the frill. Einiosaurus is normally smaller than Triceratops; this unusual individual would therefore have been at least as large as a typical Triceratops. Good bone structure is seen at the base. Measures 20 x 14 x 4in. Horn base is 9 ½in
