Iron, Coarse Octahedrite
Gran Chaco, Argentina,
Discovered in a previously unknown area of Campo del Cielo’s original strewnfield, an outstanding example from the Valley of the Sky is unusually well-preserved, looking virtually the same as it did upon its arrival on Earth nearly 4,000 years ago.
