A unique and magnificent collection of finely crafted micropoints displays a highly pronounced desert patina. Surface-collected in the portion of the vast sand expanse of Southern Saudi Arabia known as the Empty Quarter, the collection of miniature arrow points was very delicately produced from local chert sources.
This collection was loaned to the Peabody Museum Harvard University in 1960 for an intensive study, the results of which were published by Dr. Augustus Sordinas in 1963.
