Rub-al-Khali, Arabian Desert, Saudi Arabia

A collection of miniature arrow points and small tools were delicately produced from local chert sources surface-collected in the portion of Southern Saudi Arabia known as the Empty Quarter.
This collection was loaned to the Peabody Museum Harvard University in 1960 for an intensive study, the results of which were published by Dr. Augustus Sordinas in 1963.
