January 19, 1993, the saxophone was played at the President's inaugural ball at the Capital Centre in Landover, MD. The sax has been signed by Bill Clinton, Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, Al Gore, Jack Nicholson, Michael Bolton and John McVie. The lot includes hotel keys, Clinton’s secret service badge, which was needed to be near Clinton backstage, an unpublished photograph of Clinton at the event just after signing the saxophone, a Washington, D.C. inaugural paper and Clinton’s signed Wayfarer-style sunglasses. The consignor was present at this event. As an admirer of Fleetwood Mac, Bill Clinton used their song "Don’t Stop Thinking about Tomorrow" as his campaign anthem.
