The autograph lyrics for the Young Rascals' (who were inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997) tune that was a #1 hit in 1967, “Groovin;” one page, legal folio, no place or date, most likely penned by band member, Eddie Brigati, who was the main lyricist. Lyrics read in part:
“A / Groovin – on a Sunday afternoon
Really couldn’t get away too soon
B / I can’t imagine anything that’s better
The world is ours whenever we’re together
There ain’t a place I’d rather be instead of
Groovin' on a Sunday afternoon
Just movin down a crowded avenue..."
