Pencil on paper, the first two depict the crows (Dandy Crow and Glasses Crow) from Dumbo, 1941; and the third depicts one of the little wolves from The Practical Pig, 1939, this drawing is from the scene when the little wolves are left with the two pigs and the big Bad Wolf is off looking for the third. Meanwhile the little wolves are preparing a pork pie and pepper Fiddler and Fifer, who go into a sneezing fit and burst out of the pie and escape.
The drawings of the crows (characterized as black Americans which drew some criticism as being distasteful) from Dumbo were animated by Ward Kimball. Initially skeptical to Timothy Mouse’s claim that Dumbo could fly, the crows were won over and became their best supporters.
