together with a view of 'Ghuznee 1839' and a study of a Lemur, all by the same hand, unframed, (3).

Footnotes

The artist would have formed part of the force in the 'First Afghan War' that marched up the left bank of the Indus in December 1838 and fought the Battle of Ghuznee in July 1839.
