Signed on reverse, dated and inscribed 1839/ Painted by W. C. Ross A.R.A/ Miniature Painted to/ The Queen./ Mrs Monro/ Ulcomb Place/ Kent, gilt-metal frame with ormolu slip and glazed reverse, set in a leather travelling case.
