A Rare Combined Flintlock Tinderlighter And Eprouvette
18th Century

With iron box-lock body with external mechanism and trigger, brass side-plate indistinctly engraved with a name, the left side fitted with brass eprouvette with sprung indicator wheel (arm repaired), bipod, and wooden stock with rounded butt decorated with inlaid horn pellets along the back (iron parts rust patinated)
15.3 cm.
