A 20-Bore Flintlock Pistol, And Another Of 15-Bore
The First By Blair & Lea Of London, Circa 1784-5, The Second By Jenkins, London, Basically 19th Century

The first with three-stage barrel, engraved tang, signed border engraved rounded lock (cock and steel replaced), figured full stock inlaid with silver wire scrollwork at a later date, mounts comprising rounded border engraved white-metal side-plate decorated with a martial trophy, associated trophy of arms escutcheon, and later spurred pommel and trigger-guard roughly cast with trophies and rococo ornament (worn and rust patinated, ramrod missing), private Birmingham proof marks; the second with two-stage barrel, signed engraved lock (defective, top jaw and screw missing), stock and mounts similar to the last, and no provision for a ramrod (worn and rust patinated overall) (2)
