With minor differences, with browned twist octagonal sighted barrels each engraved 'Liverpool' along the top flat at the breech, the breeches each with gold line and gold-lined touch-hole, engraved tangs each incorporating a back-sight, signed border engraved flat detented locks each decorated with a starburst and a Britannia shield on the tail, and with safety-catch, semi-rainproof pan and blued steel-spring with roller, figured full stocks (minor splits and repairs, one probably a working replacement) with rounded flat-sided butts each chequered along the spine, engraved blued steel mounts including spur trigger-guards each with a martial trophy on the bow and pineapple finial, vacant silver escutcheons, set triggers, original horn-tipped ramrod (the other replaced), and some original finish, Birmingham proof marks (2)
