A 22-Bore Saw-Handled Flintlock Pistol, A 25-Bore Flintlock Pistol, An Irish 14-Bore Flintlock Pistol, And The Parts Of Three Other Flintlock Pistols
All Early 19th Century

The first reconverted from percussion, with brass octagonal barrel (fore-sight replaced), figured full stock (repairs), silver-mounted flat ovoidal pommel, steel trigger-guard, and vacant silver escutcheon (worn, steel parts pitted, ramrod missing), Tower private proof marks; the second with flat bevelled lock signed 'Meredith' (cock missing), figured full stock, and brass mounts (one ramrod-pipe replaced, ramrod missing, worn and rust patinated), Birmingham proof marks; the third with octagonal sighted barrel, engraved tang and lock, the latter (action defective) signed 'Fowler' and fitted with roller, full stock (fore-end extensively repaired) with rounded butt and engraved silver butt-cap, and engraved trigger-guard with pineapple finial (worn overall, steel parts pitted); the last each in poor condition (locks, triggers, mounts and ramrods mostly missing, steel parts pitted or partly restored); together with a modern brass barrel of octagonal section (7)
