A Rare 80-Bore Four-Barrelled Flintlock Box-Lock Tap-Action Pistol

With turn-off cannon barrels numbered from '1' to '4' at the breeches, border engraved breeches numbered to correspond, border engraved action signed within an oval against a stand of flags on one side, and engraved 'London' on a rocaille on the other, engraved pan-cover lever, sliding trigger-guard safety-catch engraved with a flowerhead on the bow, figured flat-sided butt with silver butt-cap cast and chased with foliage and a martial trophy, and border engraved vacant silver escutcheon (steel parts with some wear and areas of pitting), London proof marks and maker's mark
