A 60-Bore Flintlock Pocket Pistol
By Clemmes, Shug Lane, Circa 1770

With turn-off cannon barrel, breech engraved with a line beadwork and signed in full on two scrolls against rococo ornament and a stand of flags, and engraved 'London' below the steel spring, foliate engraved tang, border engraved action (top of cock replaced), sliding trigger-guard safety-catch engraved with a flowerhead on the bow, and later rounded ivory butt (minor splits) carved with a shell behind the barrel tang, London proof marks
