A Small 70-Bore Flintlock Box-Lock Pocket Pistol
By King, Probably John 3, London, Circa 1775

With short turn-off cannon barrel, border engraved action (top jaw and screw replaced) signed on a scroll on one side and decorated with rococo ornament and foliage, sliding trigger-guard safety-catch engraved with a flowerhead on the bow, and figured flat-sided butt finely inlaid with silver wire scrollwork and rocailles, London proof marks
