The first with octagonal sighted barrel, foliate engraved breech, tang-plate and action, foliate engraved trigger-guard and butt-cap, chequered rounded butt, vacant white-metal escutcheon, belt hook, stirrup ramrod engraved with a flowerhead on the tip, and very faint traces of original finish, Birmingham proof marks; the second with octagonal sighted barrel signed along the top flat, foliate engraved breech, tang-plate, action and butt-cap, folding trigger, vacant white-metal escutcheon, and chequered rounded butt, Birmingham proof marks (2)
