The first with octagonal sighted barrel, top-strap with faint traces of retailer's details, cylinder with roped forward edge, foliate engraved frame (action defective) and trigger-guard, replacement rammer, hinged safety-stop and arbor pin-catch (arbor pin replaced), and later crudely chequered rounded butt, Birmingham proof marks; the second of similar form (rammer and cylinder missing, both revolvers worn, rust patinated and partly filed-off), Birmingham proof marks (2)
