A 54-Bore Six-Shot Self-Cocking Percussion Revolver Of Bentley Type, And Another Of 100-Bore
The First By Joseph Bourne, Maker, London, Both Mid-19th Century

The first with octagonal sighted barrel deeply grooved along the top flat and signed over the other two top flats, cylinder numbered from '1' to '6' and engraved around the forward edge, foliate scroll engraved action (defective), trigger-guard and butt, the latter with hinged butt-trap cover, rammer with sprung side-catch, and chequered rounded grips (spring safety-stop replaced), London proof marks; the second of similar form, with spurred butt (action defective, both revolvers worn and rust patinated, barrels filed bright), Birmingham proof marks (2)
