With etched twist octagonal sighted barrel (areas of pitting) signed in gothic script along the top flat at the breech and rifled with fifteen grooves, blued folding-leaf back sights from 200 to 300 yards, foliate engraved breech with three platinum lines and pierced platinum plug, long tang engraved with foliage and guilloche, signed back-action lock engraved with scrolling foliage and a hind in a landscape on the tail, figured half-stock with chequered grip, engraved steel mounts comprising curved butt-plate with a stippled panel on the back and engraved scrolling foliage on the tang, hinged patch-box cover engraved with a tiger in a landscape above a panel of scrolling foliage, trigger-guard with a recumbent stag in a landscape on the bow, serial numbered trigger-plate en suite with the barrel tang and with stylised pineapple finial, engraved steel fore-end cap, set trigger, original horn-tipped ramrod, and traces of original blueing: in original lined and fitted (minor repairs) brass-mounted oak case with powder-flask with embossed copper body, the interior of the lid with maker's trade label (stained, minor damage), the exterior (some splits) with flush-fitting brass carrying handle and circular brass escutcheon
